Learn how to use plants to strengthen and balance the systems in your body. Spend one Saturday a month steeping yourself in the beauty and wisdom of plant medicines growing outside.  Together we will learn, gather and make medicines for you to take home. Become empowered with herbal knowledge to deeply improve the health of yourself and your loved ones.  

With COVID 19 among us, it is even more imperative that we all learn how to create balance, health, and resilience in our bodies - and plant medicines offer us so much in this regard.

EACH CLASS WE WILL:

LEARN/DISCUSS our body’s systems/organs and the ways in which the plants we will work with can support these.

EXPLORE gardens, fields and forest to see what herbs are growing that month (will include field trips to other herbalists gardens too).

GATHER & MAKE MEDICINE - each class we will focus on 2-3 plants, gather those plants and make medicine for you to bring home.

SHARE HERBAL SNACKS & TEAS - what we eat & drink is an integral part of our health - each class I will make herbal snacks and tea to share and you will go home with recipes.

GROUNDING MEDITATION - we will begin each class with a guided meditation to calm our nerves, decrease stress and help us connect to ourselves and our surroundings.

YOU WILL TAKE HOME - in-depth herbal handout covering the herbs for each class, 2-3 herbal preparations, recipes for meals and herbal tonics, and inspiration and wisdom from working with and connecting with the plants.

COST

Each class is $100.00 - $400.00 for the series.

If you pay for all 4 classes before June 13th you can get the series for the reduced price of $375.00.

WHERE? -At Kimberly’s beautiful home and gardens (and pond when it’s hot) in West Corinth, Vermont.  Plus a couple field trips to discover more plants and see other amazing gardens (including Wild Hill Herbals in Chelsea and an enchanted hemlock forest with an abundance of the all-powerful Reishi mushroom).

SAFETY with COVID 19 - To make sure that we are not spreading the virus each class will be held outside, the size will be limited to 6 and we will maintain the 6 ft. distancing.  All materials for plant gathering, medicine-making and snacks will be cleaned and sterilized. The indoor bathroom will be available for use with a mask and fully sanitized. An outdoor handwashing station will be set up and hand sanitizer provided.  When going on field trips we will have to drive our own cars. Rain dates will be the Sunday of the same weekends.
